[Part 1]
A golden-haired, blue-eyed foreign exchange student arrived at Seijo High. From the very first moment Oikawa Tooru saw him, he couldn't shake the feeling that he somehow knew him.
The inexplicable familiarity left him scratching his head and beating his chest in frustration. In the end, he could only approach the boy himself and try to figure out where that feeling came from.
Unfortunately, the transfer student always looked at him with an indescribably complicated expression and said, "We'll talk when you remember."
...Why did he suddenly feel like a scumbag who'd abandoned him?
Then one afternoon, after finishing his usual volleyball practice, he stumbled upon the transfer student, Shizuhara Saku, just as he was about to dissolve into glowing motes and scatter.
Covered in golden sparks, Shizuhara Saku walked toward him one step at a time and said, "Forgive my forwardness."
It was the first time he'd ever kissed anyone.
[Part 2]
Lately, Oikawa Tooru had been having strange nightmares. Sometimes he was surrounded by bizarre familiars; other times, someone was hunting him down... Wait, how did he know those monsters were called familiars?
In his dreams, a clear, resonant voice seemed to call his name, but whenever he tried to make out the person's face, the dream faded like a thin mist.
"...You will survive," said a golden-haired boy whose face he couldn't see. "I swear it on my life."
Overcome by an intense sense of sorrow and resistance, Oikawa Tooru jolted awake. In the middle of the night, he climbed onto the roof and stared blankly at the full moon on the horizon.
As his lips moved, his body called out someone's name before his mind could catch up.
'Alvaro Fairwick'
In an endless dream, golden light bearing wings gathered beneath the clear moonlight and took the shape of a person before him.
The mist lifted, revealing the golden-haired boy in full. With a helpless, carefree smile, he held out his hand to Oikawa Tooru and asked, "Are you, by any chance, my Master?"
