After the Leads of a Dog-Blood Restricted Novel Awaken

[Calm and restrained / domineering CEO forced by the plot x flustered, lovestruck airhead beauty]

Wen Ningyue is the heroine of an erotic novel.

The good news: the paper character has awakened.

The bad news: the screenwriter rewrites one scene dozens of times. Maybe it would be better if she hadn't awakened!

In the original book, the heroine is plain and ordinary, comes from a poor family, and has a delicate, sweet beauty. On her first day at the Fu Group, she'll meet the man destined for her, setting off an unstoppable romance and an indescribably happy life with the domineering CEO male lead.

But the heroine's character is far too shy. On her first day at work, following the plot, Wen Ningyue awakens after being mortified beyond belief.

In a storage room with a broken lock.

The icy CEO Fu Chen pulls her into his arms, his long, bony fingers tightening inch by inch around her waist, their tips radiating scorching heat.

His voice is dangerous and magnetic as he whispers close to her ear, his breath warm and damp:

"Woman, you're playing with fire."

Wen Ningyue: Who's playing with fire here, anyway?!

Wen Ningyue curls her toes in embarrassment. Following the plot, her soft palm accidentally comes to rest on the man's chest.

Fu Chen: "..."

Fu Chen, the young CEO known for his iron-fisted fairness and cold-heartedness, has never been interested in women in his twenty-eight years of life. Then one day, he hears the plot and discovers that he's the male lead of an erotic novel.

Controlled by the plot, he corners the company's new, timid intern against the wall again and again, acting out all kinds of indescribable scenes with her...

He and Wen Ningyue agree on three rules. They'll act out the original plot to fool the author and fight fate together.

But without realizing when it began, his acting keeps crossing the line.

That night.

Beneath the thin quilt, his broad body braces above Wen Ningyue, drawing closer and closer.

Wen Ningyue clasps her hands nervously to her chest, her face flushed and her voice trembling. "Fu Chen, is the plot over?"

There has long been silence in her ear.

He says, "No."

Wen Ningyue asks softly, "What does the plot want us to do now?"

Fu Chen's eyes darken as he stares into her beautiful amber eyes. His voice turns slightly hoarse. "It says you have to kiss me..."
