The Most Hated Fake Young Master Decides to Fake His Death

Su Yu always knew he was a fake young master who had taken the place of the real one.

But his older brother, Shen Jiqing, had raised him since childhood. He was harsh, cold, and ruthless to everyone else, yet always showed Su Yu a great deal of care.

So what if he was a fake? Su Yu naively thought that after all those years together, there had to be some affection between them, just as he loved his brother.

So when the real young master was found, Su Yu dared to cling to his brother and coquettishly ask for a kiss right in front of him.

But he never imagined his brother would react so strongly, angrily shoving him away.

While everyone around them celebrated the real young master's return, Su Yu was left alone and locked in a storage room by the real young master. He still instinctively called out to his brother, complaining and asking him to stand up for him.

The real young master's lackey laughed at him, saying that Shen Jiqing hated him for delaying the search for the real young master, so there was no way he would come save him.

The real young master also looked smug. "Brother won't come. He's preparing the most lavish welcome banquet for me."

Then the door shut, plunging the room into darkness.

The System told Su Yu that once he realized his brother had given all his love to the real young master, he would turn evil and target him, even tampering with the real young master's test report. In the end, everyone would despise him, and he would die.

So it was true?

His brother would give all his love to someone else?

And he was just a despised side character?

Afraid he might lose control and do something he couldn't take back, the System soon sent a transmigrator into Su Yu's body to help steer the plot back on course.

Su Yu finally believed that his brother really did hate him.

With the transmigrator's intervention, the plot had mostly settled down, but it would take more time to stabilize completely.

So the System asked Su Yu whether he was willing to become a transmigrator, too, and go help a side character somewhere else.

Su Yu thought it over and nodded.

His brother already had the real young master, and he, the one who had taken his place, really ought to leave.

He tried transmigrating and found he quite liked it. His brother in that world was gentle and treated him well.

Su Yu thought it was time to say goodbye to the past and try a new life.

But sometimes he felt as if someone were following him.

Maybe it was just an illusion because he wasn't used to being inside someone else's body.

Before he left, the System asked him to return and take one last look at his brother.

Recently, he'd heard from the transmigrator that the plot here was stable. The real young master had somehow been sent away to another city. Though things between him and his brother were distant, they were still peaceful, and the conflicts in the original storyline had been successfully avoided.

Su Yu transmigrated back into his own body and looked up to find Shen Jiqing right in front of him.

He no longer clung to his brother and acted coquettishly the moment he saw him. Instead, he was about to follow the transmigrator's example and politely call out "Brother" from a distance.
