[Football] A Man of Refined Tastes

AC Milan was hit by a wave of injuries and needed players. Tassotti gritted his teeth and sent him over.

Maldini was a little uneasy about the young player, but now that he was here, they couldn't just send him back. Besides, having someone was better than having no one.

Who could have guessed that the next day's papers would make a huge fuss about the protagonist staying out all night at a nightclub and closing the place down?

Maldini was furious. Everyone thought it was unacceptable, except Inzaghi, who remained calm.

As it turned out, the protagonist was in great form and even did extra training. Looking at the protagonist's aggrieved, innocent face, Maldini still had to ask.

Maldini said, “Did you stay out all night at a nightclub?”

The protagonist was shocked. “I just went to close it!”

That's right. Inzaghi smiled with satisfaction. No one had expected that the protagonist just loved closing places down! He just liked closing doors!

Two days later, the media reported that Inzaghi had gone to a nightclub to close it down.

Everyone looked at Inzaghi, who was lying on his bed, in alarm and confusion, and asked if he wasn't being a little too reckless.

Inzaghi smiled again. “No, that's not what happened.”

The protagonist had dressed up as Inzaghi and gone to close the place down!

Maldini asked, “Why would you do that?”

The protagonist said he wanted to experience it.

Two days later, the protagonist was in the news again. This time, Maldini didn't even ask. He chose to bring the protagonist home and keep an eye on him. But when it was time to sleep, the protagonist lay under his bed, arranging his slippers for him.

Maldini had nothing to say. He felt a little helpless.

But the protagonist had learned the formula by now. He said, “I wanted to experience it.”
