A Sinister Pregnancy

Whenever Wen Yao woke from the damp darkness, surrounded by his warm offspring, he would think back to the day he first came to the laboratory as an intern and saw "It."

It had been a complete and utter deception.

On the surface, it was an internship. In reality, they had gathered a group of young, intelligent students so "It" could choose... its food.

Wen Yao was one of them, both food and sacrifice.

That day was also the first time "It" answered humanity's prayers.

The fanatical researchers threw Wen Yao into the feeding chamber, hoping "It" would bestow even more divine grace upon them.

"If It doesn't eat you right away, darling... you'll have to find some way to please and worship It. That's the only thing you can do, the only way to stay alive."

The demon's follower said with a beaming smile.

Everyone thought Wen Yao was as good as dead. But a few months later, a disturbance suddenly came from "Its" lair. An immense, uncanny force razed the laboratory to the ground. As the researchers teetered on the brink of death, they witnessed a shocking scene they would never forget for all eternity.

"Its" beautiful, enormous body unfurled beneath the stars, bearing the power to destroy heaven and earth, like a god.

A familiar figure lay nestled in the deity's embrace, fast asleep with eyes closed, his expression gentle and his cheeks rosy. Like nectar dripping from a tender flower, he radiated the scent of ripeness, as though he had been very well cared for.

Yet his abdomen had a subtle curve, and the faint stirrings of life could almost be felt...
