The Great Flood: I Became the Lord of an Island

[Update time: 10:00 a.m.~]

[If a global flood happened this second, whatever you grabbed would become your survival world. What would you choose?]

An Yan never expected something so absurd to actually come true.

The thing she grabbed was a single-player game, [Island Lord].

And then,

under the onslaught of the global flood,

she became a wild island lord who could lie flat on the island and sunbathe, and had nothing else to do but sunbathe.

An Yan: "..."

Where's the golden finger I was promised?

How come I'm offline and not even registered?!

Fortunately, the survival instructions finally arrived on the seventh day.

Day One: [Obtain wood (0/50) and build a shelter.]

Day Two: [Obtain wood (0/50) and build a shelter.]

Day Three: [Obtain wood (0/50) and build a shelter.]

Day Four: ...

An Yan realizes this isn't an island lord game. It's clearly a single-player weight-loss game. A month after arriving on the island, she's either on her way to chop trees or on her way to break rocks and gather resources. To make matters worse, the shop only sells fruit. She's practically an unregistered wild monkey.

A month later,

An Yan, who has done nothing but chop trees and break rocks, is rewarded with her golden talent: [NPC].

[As an NPC, you don't have to pay the System's shop tax on any trades. You also have a chance to extract one scrap item from the goods you collect. This talent only works on basic building materials.]

An Yan bursts into tears right there: What a gloriously useless unique golden talent!

But the very next day, a blueberry sapling appears in her shop trades.

An Yan instantly perks up: Great, great, great! As the island lord, the one thing she has plenty of is land!

With the fields she's gradually cleared on the island, An Yan finds all kinds of ways to make use of "basic building materials": blueberries? Those are basic food. Tomatoes? Also basic food. Coconuts? Even more basic food...

As for the sky-high prices and the "greedy wild monkey" accusations, what do they have to do with An Yan?

Then, one day, the districts merge, and the System finally opens the player [Trading Hall] interface for An Yan.

Looking at the trading screen in the player Trading Hall, An Yan is stunned to discover:

I, the wild island lord of the Huaxia region, have become rich overnight!

She loves chopping trees!

System: You act like asking you to chop a few more trees ruined your life.

Do you have any idea how valuable the words "basic building materials" are?!

There is a male lead. He's just as unlucky as the female lead, hehe~

Theme: Live well.
