A slow-witted, honest girl x a proud, scheming rich boy
Lin Xuzao, a child star who suddenly became famous, unexpectedly develops a fear of cameras.
She's easily startled and gets nervous easily. Most importantly, she's a crybaby, which makes her completely unsuited for the camera.
She's timid and afraid of causing trouble, so at school she does her best to avoid the popular kids and keeps her head down like a rabbit.
But the first love letter she ever receives is from the school's infamous troublemaker, Shan Jiting.
As a member of the student council, Lin Xuzao's only impression of him is that she records his tardiness at the school gate every day and checks whether he's got any new bruises on his face.
Just as she's worrying about what to do, a classmate next door says, "Do you think Shan Jiting had something to do with Chen Li ending up in the hospital?"
Lin Xuzao is so startled she almost falls off her stool.

Realizing it was all a misunderstanding, Lin Xuzao is so embarrassed she could dig a hole in her palm. Then she remembers how she just criticized him and is afraid he'll hold it against her, so she turns and runs.

Shan Jiting never thought Lin Xuzao was particularly timid.
After all, every love letter he writes with painstaking care gets torn to shreds by her. Then she blinks her big, round eyes and complains to him:
"Why does someone always send me such sappy stuff? Is writing love letters the only thing you boys know how to do?"
Shan Jiting looks at the unsigned love letter in her hand, snatches it away, and sneers.
"I'll tear it up for you. Don't dirty your hands."
