There was once a butcher's son in Xiaochai Village on Baiya Mountain. His name was Chen Ping.
He was crude in manner, illiterate, and so poor that his home was practically bare. Even his gender was the most common of all: a Zhongyong.
Chen Ping was nearly twenty, and despite his handsome face, nobody was willing to marry him.
One day, Chen Ping found a beautiful Qianyuan on the mountain, covered in blood and suffering from amnesia.
The man had two moles on his face, so Chen Ping named him Yan Er.
They spent every day and night together, and before long, they were married in their little thatched hut.
But later, when Yan Er regained his memories, the first thing he did wasn't to show gratitude. Instead, he slapped Chen Ping hard across the face.
Content warnings: 1. The setting features ancient-world Qianyuan, Zhongyong, and Kunze, similar to A/B/O. 2. All characters, both tops and bottoms, are sexually inexperienced. There will be some childbirth-related plot, but not much. 3. This is still a melodramatic, bittersweet angst story. The protagonist is beloved by everyone and gets entangled with many people. 4. The author's tastes are unusual, and the writing is passable. The protagonist suffers quite a bit and is an honest man with a hard life. 5. Most importantly, if you can't keep reading, please don't insult me. Just stop reading. Thank you.
Theme: Love others the right way, and let sincerity be answered with sincerity.
