The Man I Can't See

Lu Yao was dumped.

The reason was classic: "You're sick, and I can't deal with it. Bye."

Fine. So the scumbag ran off, huh? She accepted it.

Then, for some reason, her illness got better.

Then she got promoted and a raise.

Then she lost five kilos and got prettier.

Then she met a new boyfriend who was gentle and considerate.

Then she was getting married.

Looking at herself in the mirror, Lu Yao was filled with emotion.

Thanks, ex. If you hadn't run off so fast, I wouldn't have known life could be this great.

The only regret was...

She couldn't remember what her ex looked like, no matter how hard she tried.

Oh well. It didn't matter.
