Once, the little bean saw Meng Xu covered in wounds and burst into tears. “Mommy, I’ll protect you from now on!”

Then he casually punched an S+ rank supernatural horror into oblivion.

Meng Xu: “.” Is this right?

After Meng Xu had just killed a powerful foe and sent the gods fleeing, the child was the only one to greet him with a beaming smile and a hug. “Mommy, you worked so hard!”

This time Meng Xu didn’t refuse. Instead, he hesitantly and carefully adjusted his stance, then stiffly replied, “…Mm.”
