After I Picked Up a Saiyan

I transmigrated into the world of Dragon Ball and became an ordinary person scraping by on the coast.

On a stormy night, a spiky-haired boy, drenched and too hungry to walk, knocked on my door. He wore a tattered orange martial arts uniform, his eyes shone with startling brightness, and his stomach rumbled louder than the thunder.

I gave him food. He ate three days' worth of my provisions.

Then, to repay me, he punched a giant bear that came attacking right through a door a whole palm's thickness of wood.

That's when I learned that the starving boy I'd taken in, with his incredible appetite, was named Kakarot, also known as Sun Wukong.

I thought he would leave at dawn.

But he repaired my roof and fixed my fence, then scratched his head and asked me, his eyes shining,

"Your cooking is so good... Can I come by again when I pass this way to train?"

I looked at this Saiyan who would one day be able to blow up a planet with one punch, then at the provisions in the pot that had vanished in an instant.

...I think I've taken in quite a handful, and one who plans to mooch meals for the long haul, too.

One-line summary: Struggling to survive in the world of Dragon Ball, I take in a Saiyan who has collapsed from hunger.
