Don’t Speak

What does it feel like to see the person you love kissing another woman?

Crouching by the roadside, Jing Su was so heartbroken she could hardly breathe as the rain poured down around her.

A man holding a black umbrella stopped beside her. After a long while, he took her hand.

That night, they slept together.

"I'll take responsibility."

"No need."

Three years after their breakup, Jiang Han had thought there was no way she'd ever look at him again.

But that night, to his surprise, she kissed him first for the very first time.

Yet when things grew passionate, she covered his mouth. "Don't speak."

After all these years, she still saw him only as a stand-in for his younger brother.

After all these years, she had eyes only for Jiang Lai, never Jiang Han.

Once he came to his senses, Jiang Han swore he would never fall for her again.

But on the day he heard she was going on a blind date, he cornered her at her studio in the dead of night.

"Am I not good enough? I... can keep quiet."
