[Football] Pirlo's Brescia Adventure

This is a derivative work of "Listen to Cruyff and Become Milan's Golden Boy."

In the 2000/2001 season, Andrea Pirlo is loaned back to his former club Brescia by its new manager, Johan Cruyff, and embarks on an unbelievable, wondrous adventure.

First, his teammates fight every day for the chance to shave his beard, because they think it ruins his youthful image. In reality, with or without a beard, he doesn't look youthful at all.

Second, Cruyff tells everyone to call him "Johan" rather than "Sir," prompting the media to mock them and claim there's a serious problem in the team's locker room.

Third, their daily training sessions are like games, so they have to tie their manager, who has a heart condition, to a chair to stop him from joining in.

Fourth, Barcelona captain Guardiola goes to absurd lengths to join them, leading the media to comment that Figo's transfer has driven him completely insane.

Fifth, legendary former striker Marco van Basten is "kidnapped" into becoming an assistant coach. Every day, he looks utterly dejected, with "I want to go home" written all over his face.

Sixth, in this atmosphere, they make it all the way to the Coppa Italia final and eventually achieve what people call the "Brescia Miracle."

Theme: Idealism above all.
