Honest Parents, a Little Bully of a Daughter

The Li family of Peach Blossom Village was flourishing, and Old Madam Li had three sons.

As the saying goes, the eldest and youngest are the favorites, while the middle child gets no love from either parent.

The eldest Li son was outgoing and knew how to make a good impression. The youngest was sweet-tongued and knew how to charm the elders. Only the second son was honest and dull-witted, working like an ox at home. His wife was just as taciturn. The couple did all the hard labor for the Li family, yet still failed to win the affection of the sharp-tongued Old Madam Li.

They thought they were doomed to spend their lives being taken advantage of, until the second Li son had a fierce little girl...

On her first day, she wore out the old woman who'd scolded her for being a girl and left her bedridden. At three months old, she kicked her older male cousin, who'd tried to steal her toy, right in the face and gave him a nosebleed. As soon as she could crawl, she grabbed the hair of a younger male cousin who pushed her and yelled at him. After turning three, she became a chatterbox who refused to let anyone get the better of her. When she got a little older, anyone who upset her could expect her to flip the table in public.

No one in the family, young or old, dared provoke this little tyrant.

If Old Madam Li hadn't seen the girl being born with her own eyes, she'd have suspected the second son's family had switched babies.

The second son's family rose to prominence and sang their hearts out, while the rest of the Li family spent their days frowning. "When will this ever end?"

Her cousin Li Rong couldn't understand why the cousin who had been just as timid and honest in her previous life had changed so much.

In her previous life, her cousin had lucked into saving a young master from a powerful family in the capital. He married her out of gratitude.

This time, Li Rong couldn't beat her cousin, couldn't outtalk her, and couldn't measure up to her in any way. So she'd save the young man before her cousin did. Once she married into the military compound, she could finally hold her head high. But her formidable cousin went straight to the army and offered herself to the nation.

All the young men in the compound were just little brothers in her eyes.

Li Rong...
