The Plane's Chosen One's Brother Who Died Young

On the third day after Liu Dazhu transmigrated here, his father died.

All that remained of his family were his frail mother, his scrawny little brother, and a bunch of uncles and aunts waiting to carve up their farmland.

He shouldered the family's burdens alone: dealing with his relatives, supporting his mother, and sending his little brother to school.

He thought he was following a rise-to-success story about farming and business. But after his younger brother passed the imperial examinations, the lad declared, “A man should serve as the Commander of the Imperial Guard, and marry Yin Lihua!”

Liu Dazhu nervously asked, “Liu Tieniu, what nonsense are you talking about?”

His youngest brother was indignant and patted his clothes for emphasis. “Big Brother, I've told you I changed my name. I'm Liu Xiu now!”

Who?

Liu Xiu?

The Liu Xiu known to history as the “Son of the Plane”?

Then who does that make him, Liu Xiu's elder brother who died young?

So the Son of the Plane is destined to lose his father, his brother, and his whole family, is that it?

Liu Dazhu flips the table. “I'm done! Let fate decide!”
