Inspired by tales of heroes, two little adventurers set out hand in hand from their village and began their journey.
Evil spirits? Forbidden arts? Gods that humanity struggles against? The grand sweep of legend and epic? Oh, no, no, my dear. We don't have any of that high-minded stuff here.
This is simply a record of two children cooking outdoors along the way, and all the things they see as they eat and drink their way through the journey. The journey's end will probably come many years later, when they settle down somewhere, whether lively or quiet, and make a home where they can stay for good.
Wait, didn't I mention it?
These two children have been betrothed since they were little. (Smile.)
One little friend: I'm his fiance. (Completely serious.)
The other little friend: That's right, that's right. (Nodding like a pecking chick.)
Tavern owner: ...Hey, bring them two cups of honey milk and a plate of hot pancakes.
