One Piece: Forks and Cake

Maybe this is a One Piece self-insert romance? I don't know. I've never written this kind of thing before, so I'm just going to give it a wild try.

A summary of the Fork and Cake trope: Forks have no sense of taste and can smell the scent of cake among a crowd. Cakes don't know they're cakes. Forks eat cakes, and their love and desire for cakes are mixed up with their appetite.

You can look up the Fork and Cake trope.

The heroine can be treated as Y/N. I originally wrote her as Y/N, but I don't know how to write in second person, so I used third person instead. I guess you could treat this as either an original female character or a reader-insert romance. Anyway, this is my wild attempt, so I'm personally fine with either interpretation. An open-world, fully free, immersive VR RPG setting. An overpowered Y/N, with a game interface. I might not write an affection meter later, though, since I don't know how to write gal games. (A despairing illiterate writer lies flat.jpg)

The “favorite cake” chosen at the beginning isn't a confirmed male lead. He'll just start with a higher affection level.

Most of the possible male leads with HE conquest routes are among the Whitebeard Pirates' commanders. The main conquest targets are Edward Newgate (may unlock the Worst Generation instance), Marco, Ace, Jozu, Thatch, Rakuyo, Namur, Haruta, Izo, and Vista. Hidden characters: Sabo, Sanji, and Brook. Others may be added as the story develops.

Although this is a One Piece romance, there may not be much romance in it. (I can't write BG, and when I force myself to, it turns out like this.jpg)

Theme: How can one stop standing still?
