Jujutsu Kaisen: The Gojo Teacher Next Door Has a Secret Crush

Sakura Hoshino, 19, is an online singer known as "fullmoon." She lives in a luxury apartment. Beautiful, gentle, and always smiling, she is still vulnerable like any ordinary girl, afraid of the dark, cockroaches, and mice. Born with a "curse-free constitution," wherever she goes seems to be wiped clean: cursed spirits can't get near her, and her singing can purify and heal people's hearts. But she can't see cursed spirits and knows nothing about the Jujutsu Society.

Satoru Gojo lives next door. At 29, silver-haired and blue-eyed, he is a genius Jujutsu Sorcerer, portrayed exactly as he is in appearance and personality. He has been secretly in love with her for a long time, quietly following her livestreams, saving every recording of her songs, and leaving bouquets of her favorite sunflowers at her door time and again, never signing his name.

Until one night, Sakura, wearing headphones and hurrying home because she was afraid of the dark, suddenly ran straight into his arms. That collision unleashed the possessiveness Satoru Gojo had suppressed for years, and made its way into Sakura's heart, which had never been on guard.

A slow-burn, sweet romance full of ambiguity, heart-pounding moments between neighbors, Satoru Gojo's forceful advances, "all bark and a soft heart, with a predatory streak," and Sakura's natural allure, as she is "slow to understand her own feelings but unintentionally flirtatious." Amid everyday life and the gaps between missions in the Jujutsu Society, the two slowly become each other's one and only.
