He Was Sold Off Again

Little bird, little bird, fly bravely. Break free of your cage and never return. * Qing Yu had lived in an attic for thirteen years. Now he had left that cramped little room and entered a large house, bright with lights and completely open. They called it an auction house. He was the property mortgaged off after his owner's bankruptcy. The chains dragged Qing Yu unsteadily into the spotlight. That night, the featherfolk boy was auctioned off for the staggering price of three hundred billion. He had a new home, with his own dishes, bed, and a new ankle ring. The little bird didn't understand all that talk about pets and lovers. He happily sat on the lap of the most imposing man there and agreed to let him feed him. Only the strong are allowed to touch the little bird. That's what Daddy said. Qing Yu was very obedient. His new owner wasn't strong enough. He wanted this one. - The Qin family had a pair of twins. They were close, treated each other like brothers should, and shared the same terrible personality. They made a grand spectacle of bidding for the bird treasured by the Yi Lai family, stealing the spotlight. But once they actually brought him home, first a powerful figure suddenly appeared above them, then a swarm of admirers began asking around about how much it would cost to resell the little bird. Finally, even their usually most well-behaved cousin secretly took intimate photos of the little bird. The twins flew into a rage and cornered Qing Yu in the room. Once they were tired of playing with him... They would throw him away. * The top's animal form is based on the red-whiskered bulbul, an absolutely adorable little chubby bird. Theme: A cage cannot keep a free bird.
