Can You Fall in Love in an Infinite Loop?

When the lunar rover exploded, Qi Tang was crouched on the ground digging in the dirt.

Static crackled over the communications channel, along with broken fragments about a planet colliding with Earth.

"No! It's not a planet! It's the sun!"

"...Crackle... static..."

No one answered over the communications channel. Standing on the moon, she watched helplessly as the Earth shattered bit by bit.

Xuan Shuang thinks she's sick and goes to see a doctor.

"I think I may have fallen in love with my own food."

"The provisions I picked up might be a succubus."

Succubus Qi Tang?

The little cat in front of her keeps babbling on, listing eight reasons why Qi Tang is a succubus.

Qi Tang opens her cloak. "Oh? I didn't know you loved me."

"Y-you crafty succubus! Give it up! Interspecies love can never be happy! Don't even think about seducing me!"

"Shh! Say you love me! That's the only thing I want to hear."

Qi Tang rests a warm fingertip against Xuan Shuang's parted lips, smiling brightly as if making a suggestion:
