[Gentle on the Surface, Dark and Twisted Inside, a Miserable Sword Venerable Bottom: Yue Xuanwei]
In the Age of Dharma Decline, unwilling to be bored enough to destroy his own body and soul, Su Wenxing, the only Tribulation Transcendence cultivator in the world, decided to find a Dao companion.
He had just one requirement: they couldn’t be weak.
But he was already the strongest in the world. After much thought, he decided that only the runner-up could be worthy of him, so he went to find Yue Xuanwei, the Sword Venerable who led the righteous cultivation sects.
First, he barged into the mountain. Second, he snatched a person. Third, he announced their engagement.
The Sword Venerable was stunned, terrified, and sweating profusely.
“Lord Su, for two people to become Dao companions, they must share mutual affection and understand one another. It cannot be done so rashly! Besides, your cultivation is peerless. If you wish to find a companion, surely you can easily, ”
Su Wenxing cut him off. “You’re stronger than the rest.”
Yue Xuanwei: “…”
Are you looking for a Dao companion or an opponent?
Yue Xuanwei tried to persuade him further. If the Lord insisted, perhaps they could start by cultivating affection: first, learn about each other’s personalities; second, drink tea and discuss the Dao; third, build rapport; fourth, exchange gifts, and so on and so forth…
After thinking it over, Su Wenxing frowned and rejected the idea. “Too much trouble. Let’s just dual cultivate.”
“Dual, wait! Wait! Wait, Lord! What kind of conduct is this? You absolutely cannot!”
Unable to beat him or talk sense into him, Yue Xuanwei was forcibly restrained and struggled desperately through his tears.
“Without a formal union ceremony or the witness of the Heavenly Dao, this goes against all propriety! It really does, Lord!”
“I keep my word. If I say you’re my Dao companion, then you are.” Su Wenxing sneered. “The Heavenly Dao can go to hell.”
Yue Xuanwei was shocked.

After serving as the righteous sects’ “neighborhood committee director” for a hundred years, Yue Xuanwei’s life could be summed up as, “Scoundrels always find happiness, while I’m always stuck dealing with scoundrels.” Today, sect A came to complain that sect B had taken their land; tomorrow, Elder C accused Elder D of owing him money…
Sect Leader Yue wore a smile that didn’t reach his eyes. He just wanted to run a sword through these annoying people, then blow up his own soul and take this godforsaken world with him.
Being an overworked corporate drone was painful enough. Now he had another “task” to deal with:
Endure the Demon Lord Su Wenxing’s terrifying and utterly bizarre “affection.”
Yue Xuanwei: (closes his eyes) Let it all end. I can’t live like this anymore.
1. The bottom is very strong, but the top is ridiculously stronger. For reasons related to their backgrounds, the bottom gets scared as soon as he sees the top, though he tears into him nonstop in his head.
2. This is an unconventional “wallpaper romance.” The top genuinely has no idea how love works at first and behaves in completely absurd ways; the bottom is genuinely miserable and can’t beat him (doge.jpg). But later, they will absolutely fall for each other, with both arrows pointing firmly in both directions. He loves him so much, and he loves him just as much. Not suitable for readers with extreme character preferences. No breaking up or reversing the pairing in your dreams.
3. At heart, this is a self-indulgent story written for fun. There are countless great stories on Jinjiang; if this one isn’t for you, just pick another. Please keep things civil and don’t insult anyone~
