The Seventh Year of Being Forced into the Bridal Bed

Everyone says Shen Liuyin was lucky. Though her parents died young, they left her with the Lu family as her powerful backers.

But no one knows that in her third year at the Lu estate, she was forced into Lu Zheng's bed.

Lu Zheng was the seventh-generation heir and only son of the century-old Lu family. Handsome beyond compare, he was the very image of a dashing, elegant gentleman, the dream lover of every noblewoman in Jiangnan.

Some even said that when Young Master Lu smiled, even the wind would scream.

But only Shen Liuyin knew the selfish, cold-hearted, arrogant, and rude side of Lu Zheng, who was like a demon.

In Shen Liuyin's seventh year at the Lu estate, the Lu family matriarch took it upon herself to choose a husband for her.

That night, Shen Liuyin was pinned beneath Lu Zheng. Like a damp, slimy venomous snake, he coiled around her and brushed her cheek. "Who do you want for your groom, little sister?"

Shen Liuyin bit her lip and said nothing.

Afterward, she forced herself to get up, composed her appearance, and stepped out from behind the bed curtains. His voice stopped her, dark and low. "Where are you going?"

She lowered her eyes and forced herself to stand firm. "A Xu is waiting for me."

Jiang Zhixu, the man Shen Liuyin was to marry.

After their marriage plans were ruined, as the curtains billowed in the night, Lu Zheng's voice turned hoarse. "Do you hate me?"

The woman's eyes were bright with desire, her voice broken by soft moans. She clung to the man above her. "Ah Yin will love her cousin forever."

Later, Shen Liuyin disappeared, and Jiang Zhixu vanished too. Only then did Lu Zheng understand the pain of a love mired in hatred.
