[World Trigger] A Return Gift

Content warnings:

The whole cast is platonic, with mostly angst-free, happy-ending HE.

Since the original World Trigger is unfinished, this story may try to reach a conclusion, but the odds are only 50%.

To be honest, my logic is a little shaky, so please don't overthink any original plot developments (kneels).

Told from multiple points of view.

Yi Jiu Fu Jia held up a beautiful glass marble, almost entirely blue, to the sun. Looking through it, he watched the sun turn blue and seemed to sigh. "This is a bit of a hassle..."

"I should've gotten more than just four boxes." Yi Jiu Fu Jia lay facedown on the table, rolling the marble back and forth with his hand.

By the time he finally sat up straight, the sun was already setting in the west.

"≡3≡ All right, putting this off any longer will just make things harder." Yi Jiu Fu Jia picked up a small bag and put a handful of glass marbles and a little notebook inside. He used all the remaining space to cram in Fanta.

Unfortunately, the bag was small to begin with. After the marbles and notebook, there wasn't much room left. He had to take out a few marbles he probably wouldn't need before he could just barely fit two bottles of soda inside.

"Finally done." Looking at the bulging bag, he felt a little sad. He'd only managed to pack three bottles. "It's so heavy..."

"Whatever. Let's go."
