My Dead Boyfriend Came Knocking

Jiang Qingguo's boyfriend died.

While he was alive, he was controlling, restricting her friendships and monitoring her messaging apps.

At night, he was never satisfied.

He would frantically prove himself to Jiang Qingguo again and again,

even when she was on the verge of passing out, even when she cried that she was going to die.

Troubled by Lou Zuo's growing possessiveness and need to control her, she worked up the courage after a few drinks and sent him a breakup text.

That night, Lou Zuo was in a car accident and died despite efforts to save him.

After grieving for a while, Jiang Qingguo was horrified to discover that he had died, yet come back!

Lou Zuo watches coldly as Jiang Qingguo grows closer and closer to her neighbor.

Qingguo... He's been dead for only six months, and she's already rushing into someone else's arms.

He has been cleaning her house, washing her clothes, and satisfying her growing desire all this time. What does that count for?

After punishing her harshly in another dream, Lou Zuo returns to his grave.

He opens his eyes.

Dragging his rotting body, he crawls out of the grave.

He walks alone along the empty, silent road.

He climbs the stairs, steps through foul-smelling blood, and knocks on the tightly shut door.

"Qingguo." His cloudy, unfocused eyes press against the peephole, fixed on the man and woman holding each other close.

He says, "Open the door. I'm back."
