The Delicious Mute Wife

This blurb may be revised, but the central premise will stay the same.

Yaozhu was a mute whom everyone looked down on. At some point, someone began watching her.

Every night, she would fall into a dream that left her drenched in sweat. The messy room would always be neat and clean when she woke up.

Seeing the small piece of fabric, washed clean and hung on the balcony, Yaozhu was terrified.

But the place where she lived was so chaotic that, to avoid unnecessary trouble, she chose to endure it in silence.

Unexpectedly, the person lurking in the shadows began appearing around Yaozhu more and more often. Sometimes, extra credits would suddenly appear on her pass. Other times, there would be revealing dresses that made her cheeks burn.

Just as Yaozhu was about to reach the end of her patience and apply to move, her superior, seeking to escape an arranged marriage, invited her to marry him.

She agreed.

On the eve of the wedding, Yaozhu inexplicably lost consciousness. When she woke, she was wearing a snow-white wedding dress. Someone was sitting in the chair in front of her, watching her with eyes as cold and venomous as a snake's.

"You want to get away from me that badly?"

Those eyes had appeared in Yaozhu's dreams countless times, greedily taking in every bit of her disheveled state.

Now, he downed several bottles of pink liquid that he took from his pocket.

"The drug takes three minutes to kick in. A Zhu, run." He clutched Yaozhu tightly around the waist, his breathing low and slow as he laughed softly beside her ear.

"We're on the 107th floor. Go to the person on the first floor and ask for help. Don't let me catch you..."

A timid, patient, pitiful mute girl & a cold-blooded, high-ranking madman who acts like a rabid dog

Reader advisory: Both leads are sexually inexperienced.

The male lead acts like an animal. He's a mad dog who uses his power to get what he wants and has very little in the way of morals.

Core message: Stay positive and keep moving forward.
