Don't Say the Word Ghost

[An old-fashioned urban ghost story set around the turn of the millennium

Nostalgic, stereotypical style

Not dreamcore, not infinite flow]

Lu Hua realizes the apocalypse has arrived. More precisely, a new way of dying is spreading through the world.

It selectively erases your memories of a certain horror story, then makes you hear or experience that very story yourself.

What people know cannot frighten them too much.

Once people are plunged into the unknown, their fear doubles.

So never let it know what stories are in your head, or it will come and selectively erase them.

Hush. There can be ghosts in your heart.

But never let the word "ghost" pass your lips.

Lu Hua remembers this rule for staying alive.
