Let Me Indulge

After the mission ended, Lu Yuan was left in this world forever, trapped in a repeating week at the end of summer.

To compensate her, the System gave her a card called "A Day of Indulgence," which activated automatically.

A Day of Indulgence: If the holder has a suitable person they're interested in that day, they can have their wish granted. Note: The card is subject to ethical and moral constraints.

Lu Yuan had been single for twenty-four years and didn't like this gift. Every August 17, she stayed home and went nowhere.

But during the third loop, on a Day of Indulgence, Lu Yuan acted on a whim and sat by the lake to enjoy the view. There, she met the heartbroken Jiang Zhiwan.

"Someone this beautiful... If only she liked me."

The thought suddenly popped into Lu Yuan's head.

It was a thought she shouldn't have had, and one that absolutely shouldn't have come true.

That day, an unexpected turn of events gave the words "day of indulgence" a whole new meaning.

When a new loop began, Lu Yuan peeled a sticky note off the wall, the one where she should have been writing down everything she needed to let go of, and wrote someone's name on it instead.

After her breakup, Jiang Zhiwan discovered that she was trapped in a time loop, repeating the same week at the end of summer.

She thought Heaven was taking pity on her and giving her a chance to win back her ex-girlfriend, who lived far away. She planned, pursued, and was willing to give up everything.

But as the loops went by, she suddenly noticed a blurry figure always standing in the distance, silently watching her.

When she got a little closer, beneath an umbrella in the rain, Jiang Zhiwan recognized who it was and froze.

On the last day of this summer,

she led me into indulgence.
