[Harry Potter] Let Me Kiss Your Lips (Original Female Character X Remus Lupin)

The title "Mr. Lupin" is the most common way people refer to him, the most formal and most distant. Call him by that name, and you'll always get a pleasant response, even if it may not come from the heart.

Among his friends, he's Moony. With his parents, he's Remus. Perhaps in some moment of intimacy that may or may not have happened, someone might call him Remi. But no matter how his name changes, he's always a good man, the kind of person society considers the very best and kindest. Countless people might mourn him after his death.

But to me, he's my John alone. When his profile rests quietly in my palm, he looks at me with compassion, like an artist carving the perfect sculpture, saying nothing.

He's more beautiful than the Son of God, and loves humanity more than those intangible beings. He brought the Gospel to every corner of the Kingdom of Judah, and even I, a daughter of Babylon, received his grace.

Please let me kiss you, Remus John Lupin!

Though the blurb is from Salome's perspective, the main text is basically all from Remus's perspective.

A product of my daddy issues. Read or don't, as you please. Still a happy ending.

I just realized Remus's middle name is John, so I wrote this.) Thanks, Oscar Wilde.
