When the Alpha Wolf Learns the Husky Isn't His Real Brother

Yu Le was a university student.

One morning, he woke up and found he had become a... husky puppy.

Worse still, he was stranded in a North American forest, where the winter wind cut to the bone.

Luckily, a female North American gray wolf, one of the top predators, found him.

She carried him away and raised him alongside her three other pups.

As they gradually grew, Yu Le's size, fur color, and hunting abilities began to differ drastically from those of his "brothers."

His three older brothers also realized something was wrong. Yu Le was tiny and terribly malnourished.

So they always saved extra food for their youngest brother, especially the eldest, Rosen. Whether it flew through the sky, ran across the ground, or swam in the river, he would hunt it for Yu Le.

Yu Le was terrified every day.

This is going to get me killed!

North American gray wolves can grow to two meters long and weigh up to 95 kilograms. I'm just a dog. Even if I eat like a force-fed duck, I can't grow that big!

Before long, Rosen became the new leader of the wolf pack.

Rosen had the strongest physique, the sharpest fangs, and the most meticulous hunting methods, but... he was becoming more and more hostile to outsiders, especially wolves that came near Yu Le.

Yu Le grew even more afraid.

When you find out I'm not a wolf, won't you tear me to pieces?

Rosen draped a paw around Yu Le and tucked him under his belly to sleep. "Lele, my fur should keep you nice and warm. Why are you still shivering?"

Yu Le shivered even harder. How could he possibly say that?!

One day, poachers took him away by accident.

Rosen learned something new: there was an animal similar to wolves, called a husky.

But it wasn't a wolf. It was a dog.

When Rosen returned to the pack, he announced that Yu Le was not his brother.

Yu Le was so scared that he tucked his tail between his legs.

But Rosen didn't drive him away. Instead, the "big brother" kept him by his side every moment of the day.

One day, his second brother whispered to him, "Big Brother says that even though you're male, you can still mate with him. Is that true?"

Yu Le's jaw dropped. "What kind of nonsense are you talking about?!"
