Can Even That Buggy Have a Cute Girlfriend?

Peipei is a regular at the Rogue Town hospital.

She was born with an illness, or so people say. She often has fevers and coughs, and sometimes she's so weak she can collapse right in the street. Thankfully, her friends have cared for her, and she's managed to stay alive and reasonably healthy until now.

Her childhood friend, a no-nonsense Marine, insisted she stay in bed and rest.

Peipei readily agreed, then turned around and pulled a long-treasured treasure map out from under her bed.

A figure-eight-shaped island covered in oak trees, where untold treasures were said to lie hidden. Peipei's greatest hobby was treasure hunting. She secretly slipped away from her friends, got into a little boat, and set off for Oak Island.

Peipei met a pirate named Buggy.

They were kindred spirits and hit it off at once.

Then Smoker caught his runaway childhood friend and discovered she had a pirate boyfriend. He was so angry he bit his cigar in half.

Smoker: "That trash from the sea isn't right for you. I'll find you a better man."

Peipei: "But Buggy's so cute. We'll hunt for treasure together. Would you go with me if I chose some other man, Smoker?"

Smoker: "..."

Bonus Scene:

Smoker: Because I was too subtle, my wife got a boyfriend and doesn't plan to break up with him. Clearly, killing that guy is the best solution.

When he saw the Marines' terrifying expressions, Buggy got so scared that he hid in his girlfriend's arms.
