[Demon Slayer] To Save Mr. Rengoku, I'll Travel Through R-Rated Fairy Tales!

After returning from Swordsmith Village, Tanjiro had a dream while unconscious.

A white orb of light asked him from the depths of his consciousness, "Do you want Kyojuro Rengoku to come back?"

"Yes!" Tanjiro replied without hesitation. "I'll pay any price!"

"Kyojuro Rengoku's soul is now scattered across other worlds, split into countless fragments," the orb of light said softly. "If you can make him 'remember your name' in every world, the fragments will reunite, and he can return."

"But remember: you must never tell him who you are first."

"And you have a mission to complete in every world."

Tanjiro: "I agree!"

And then he set off on a chaotic transmigration journey through fairytales.

World 1: In the world of Momotaro, Tanjiro becomes an oni, while Mr. Rengoku is Momotaro. His mission is to save the oni from being killed by Momotaro.

World 2: He becomes a crane, while Mr. Rengoku becomes an ordinary woodcutter. His mission is to make sure Mr. Rengoku has a child.

World 3: He is a turtle, while Mr. Rengoku is Urashima Taro. His mission is to help Urashima Taro find love.

World 4: He and Mr. Rengoku are married. One day, Mr. Rengoku returns from chopping wood with a little girl. The mission is to send Princess Kaguya to the moon.

In every world, Rengoku asks him at the very end:

"Have we met somewhere before?"

"Who are you, really?"

"Your name is..."

But Tanjiro can never say his own name.

He wants Rengoku to live, and he wants him to truly remember him even more.

But when all the world's missions reach their final stage, the white orb of light suddenly reveals the deepest rule:

"If he still cannot call your name in the end,

You will wander forever in other worlds, and he will vanish completely."

Tanjiro stands beneath the moonlight of the final world, watching Rengoku approach.

This time, Rengoku does not ask who he is.

He simply reaches out, his smile bright as the rising sun:

"It's time to go home, Tanjiro."

[Reading Guide]

1v1, Rengoku x Tanjiro only, quick transmigration

Each world is a standalone, reimagined fairytale. Lighthearted, though there may possibly be a little angst.

Because of the author's preferences, the quick transmigration worlds will definitely include ABO, and might also include cake and fork, dom and sub, and all sorts of other random things.

Happy ending guaranteed.

You can read this even if you haven't seen Demon Slayer.

The CP is a perfectly righteous big sun x a wholesome little sun.

Theme: I wrote Giyu x Tanjiro, so if I don't write Rengoku x Tanjiro, I'll feel awful
