[Demon Slayer] One Giyu Is More Than Enough!

After narrowly escaping death in the Entertainment District, Tanjiro, an Omega, finally summoned all the courage he had and grabbed Giyu Tomioka's haori beneath a wisteria tree.

"Mr. Tomioka, I love you! Please go out with me!"

A rare ripple crossed the Water Hashira's usually placid blue eyes.

"I understand."

And that was that.

Giyu turned and walked away, leaving Tanjiro alone beneath the falling wisteria blossoms, tasting the bitterness of his first-ever failed confession.

That night, he saw a shooting star streak across the sky and made a humble wish: "If only Mr. Tomioka could love me too..."

But it seemed the gods had misunderstood what he meant.

The next morning, Tanjiro was jolted awake by a powerful Alpha pheromone. A familiar yet unfamiliar man stood beside his bed, familiar in the face but unfamiliar in expression. With a wicked smile, the man lifted Tanjiro's chin with a fingertip.

"Who are you?"

"I'm your senior, Giyu Tomioka."

Tanjiro: "???"

And that was only the beginning.

A month later, on a mission, Tanjiro saved a thirteen-year-old boy from a demon. The boy was covered in wounds and looked exactly like Giyu Tomioka.

"Who are you?"

"My name is Giyu Tomioka."

Tanjiro: "???"

Two months later, in a forest at night, Tanjiro encountered a "demonified Giyu" with scarlet eyes and slightly bared fangs, still wearing the Demon Slayer Corps uniform. The demon tilted its head at him and rasped, "You smell... so warm."

Tanjiro, already numb to it all: "Who are you?"

"Giyu Tomioka."

Tanjiro: "."

The real Giyu Tomioka was just as confused.

He clearly remembered agreeing after Tanjiro confessed that day. So why had his Omega started avoiding him ever since?

On top of that, strange reports of sightings had recently begun circulating among the Corps:

"I saw Mr. Tomioka sneak into Tanjiro's room last night with a wicked grin!"

"I saw a young Mr. Tomioka being carried on Tanjiro's back!"

"There's a demon in the forest who looks exactly like Mr. Tomioka, and it's protecting Tanjiro!"

Giyu Tomioka: "?"

After all those Giyu Tomiokas had finally been sent away, Tanjiro understood.

Tanjiro: "Just as I thought, there's only one Giyu I love! I'll do my best to win you over, Mr. Giyu!"

Giyu Tomioka: "But aren't we already dating...?"
