[Demon Slayer] Tanjiro Is Amazing as Both a Man and a Woman

Kyojuro Rengoku was on his knees beneath the sunlight one moment, watching the Kamado boy cry out that Big Brother Rengoku hadn't lost. The next, he was reborn in his own bed!

The time: two years earlier.

Goal: Find the Kamado boy.

Urgent! Extremely urgent! He seemed to remember that guy Tomioka saying he had rescued Tanjiro two years ago. No way. This time, he had to get there first!

On the day of his twenty-fifth birthday, Giyu Tomioka died alone, carrying with him all the unspoken feelings he had never dared confess to Tanjiro.

When he opened his eyes again, he was back before it all began.

Thirteen-year-old Tanjiro Kamado was on his way home after selling charcoal when he came across two strange, yet powerful and handsome men on the mountain road.

One had dazzling blond hair, a booming voice, and eyes so heated they looked ready to set him alight.

The other was handsome, black-haired, and cool in demeanor. He stared fixedly at Tanjiro, seeming to want to speak but unable to, the tips of his ears suspiciously red.

Tanjiro: "Um... do we know each other?"

Both men, in unison: "No!!"

Tanjiro: "..." That was the smell of a lie!!! But he really didn't know them either!

Everything went smoothly. They protected the Kamado Family and got them to a safe town, until Tanjiro accidentally tipped over a basin of cold water.

Splash.

In full view of everyone, the boy's body changed, his long hair spilling loose... and he became a beautiful girl!

Everyone: "!!!"

Tanjiro, clutching his clothes in a panic: "L-listen to me! Two days ago, I accidentally fell into a strange spring. Hot water turns me into a boy, and cold water turns me into a girl. I wasn't born a hermaphrodite!"

Rengoku and Giyu: "??????"

Rengoku and Giyu wanted to keep him away from the Demon Slayer Corps and its cruelty, but Tanjiro refused their offer:

"I want to fight. I want to save more lives."

He kept his greatest secret to himself: a voice calling itself the "System" had appeared in his mind.

"For every demon you turn back into a human, you can bring one deceased person back to life."

If he killed the demon, could he bring his father back to life?

From then on, the Demon Slayer Corps had a new sword-wielding member who was sometimes a handsome boy and sometimes a lovely girl.

All Tanjiro wanted at first was to revive his father.

But as time passed, the number of people he wanted to bring back grew.

He wanted to save demons, save people, and rewrite every tragic ending,

including the burning train and the confession that never reached its recipient in the snow.

Pairings: All Tanjiro-focused, primarily Rengoku/Tanjiro and Giyu/Tanjiro. A large-scale rivalry for Tanjiro is coming.

Based on the Spring of Drowned Girl premise: simply put, hot water turns him into a boy, and cold water turns him into a girl.

Follows the original, but with major changes. The timeline is jumbled. Sweetness with a knife, and a knife with sweetness. Rest assured, it has a happy ending.

Obanai/Mitsuri, Sanemi/Kanae, and Yuushiro/Tamayo stay together, though their roles in the pairings may switch.

The fights serve the plot, so character power levels may be inconsistent.

There will be original, unimportant demons.

The extra chapters feature children, but no conception scenes, so feel free to skip them if that's not your thing.
