Autumn Rain in the Cold Season

[Mutual Pining] [Salvation] [White Moonlight] [Fake Dating Sim]

On the night Xia Jiang planned to end everything, a message suddenly popped up in the dating sim on her phone:

“Xia, I miss you so much.”

It kept Xia Jiang here, if only for a little while.

There is only one character in the game: C. It never follows the script, and always calls her “Xia,” just like someone else would.

Chen Qiuyu, a gifted student who transferred in during their second year of high school, was the only bright spot in Xia Jiang's life. Warm and gentle, he was pushed away time and again by the ill-tempered Xia Jiang, yet he kept coming back to her. “Xia, don't be sad.”

Xia Jiang realized that her hostility toward him was gradually turning into affection. No one can resist the warmth of a ray of light.

When her notebook, full of secret crushes, was discovered by her mother, who made a scene at school, Xia Jiang knelt in the office and begged, only for Chen Qiuyu to catch her in the act.

From then on, she vowed to escape that home, become a better person, and stand by Chen Qiuyu's side.

But before she could even take the college entrance exam, Chen Qiuyu vanished without a trace.

On the last day of her life, the game also reached its ending. C sent her a blessing: “May my Xia live to be a hundred.”

Then came a clear, sweet melody, an ending bonus sung in a familiar voice: “Do you have regrets? Do you dare to answer? Another midsummer has come. Do you ever think of me?”

At last, the mystery was revealed, and Xia Jiang was heartbroken.

The ray of light she had loved for so many years could never shine on her again.

[The meaning of the Lazi Tibetan knife is: May you be safe and blessed.]
