The Origami Fish

"Blunt, outgoing little sister vs. brother who acts disgusted but is honest to a fault"

*Not biologically related siblings, growing up together, love develops over time, helping little sister pursue her crush

The day Zhou Miao first arrived at the Cen family home, her second brother, Cen Zhiyu, happened to be kneeling in the snow as punishment.

Mrs. Cen begged Mr. Cen to forgive him, but to no avail, and was so anxious she burst into tears.

Little Zhou Miao climbed down from the dining table, casually stuffed two ribs into her pockets, then sneaked outside to Cen Zhiyu.

In a soft, sweet voice, she handed him the ribs.

"Are you Second Brother? From today on, I'm your little sister. Don't be scared, I'll protect you. Hurry and eat! I haven't had any of these!"

A trace of disgust flashed in Cen Zhiyu's eyes as he watched her, and he shook the ribs into the snow.

"That's disgusting."

"You! You don't know a good thing when you see one!"

Little Zhou Miao's eyes instantly reddened with anger.

Cen Zhiyu had never liked sweets, but one day he started carrying all kinds of candy in his pockets for the girl with a sweet tooth.

Later, Cen Zhiyu held her tight in his arms, greedily breathing in her scent.

"Cen Zhiyu, don't get too greedy."

"I am greedy. I don't want to be your brother."

From the day Zhou Miao entered the Cen family, a lost, colorful fish swam into the sea of her heart.

Its name was Cen Zhiyu.
