I used to be the eldest daughter of the Kane family. Later, I became a Wayne, one of the happiest people in the world.

After all, I had not only a handsome, considerate husband who was Gotham's richest man, but also a sweet, clever, and well-behaved son.

Then, one night, our family went out to see a movie. My adorable Bruce wanted to go home early, so we walked into Park Row.

From then on, I was trapped in a terrible nightmare.

And so, amid everyone's eager anticipation, a Batwoman named Martha appeared in the transporter.

The middle-aged woman stood in the Hall of Justice on the Watchtower, gently caressing Batman's cheek. Her matching blue eyes brimmed with tenderness and longing.

"I'm glad you were the one who survived, Bruce."
