Both identities revealed | Cozy cabin romance | Beautiful top, handsome bottom
A pure-hearted straight prince with a wicked charm
Fu Zhen, the only son of the prime minister of the Li Dynasty, was tall and handsome as a pine, bright as a star, immensely talented, and peerlessly beautiful. He was the dream lover of every unmarried young lady from an official family in the entire Li Dynasty.
Who could have guessed that fate would be so cruel? During a hunting expedition, he accidentally fell off a cliff and vanished without a trace. White mourning banners went up at the Prime Minister's residence, and the entire court lamented the early death of such a brilliant young man.
But no one expected Fu Zhen to return three months later, safe and sound, with astonishing news:
He already had a wife, but she was missing.
The whole city was stunned.
Fu Zhen knelt before the hall. "While I was stranded away from home, I got married. She was beautiful and kind, and she..."
The old prime minister nearly spat blood as he stared at his only son, in whom he had placed all his hopes. "Shut your mouth!"
Fu Zhen did no such thing. He set out in search of his wife, though he was baffled: how could a wife as large as his simply disappear without a trace? He had called on every connection in the capital, but still couldn't find her...
Then, not long afterward, he saw the face he had been longing for in the procession accompanying the Crown Prince's return to court.
The prince had been born abroad. He had high brows and deep-set eyes, red lips and pale skin. His sudden smile held a hint of wickedness, and he looked exactly like the wife in Fu Zhen's memories.
Yin Mu glanced at the prime minister's son, famed for his incomparable beauty, and smiled without warmth. "Young Master Fu, please."
Fu Zhen: ...Something's not right here.
After the Crown Prince returned, the political situation was thrown into turmoil. At the same time, Fu Zhen stopped searching for his wife. His colleagues and friends teased him, "You're not looking for your wife anymore?"
Fu Zhen, summoned by the Crown Prince for the 10,086th time: "..."
Top's point of view:
Yin Mu was attacked on his way back to the capital. He was blinded and poisoned until he lost his voice, and nearly died. In his memory, he had casually grabbed someone and dragged them off the cliff with him. When he woke up again, someone had mistaken him for his wife.
The man took care of him, fed him, and carefully brewed medicinal soup for him.
He also kept saying in his ear every day, "My wife is timid and kind. I need to comfort her properly..."
Yin Mu was rescued and returned to the capital, but he still found himself thinking now and then of the man who claimed to be his husband. His hidden guards searched all of the Li Dynasty and found no trace of the man. Instead... the son of the Li prime minister, who kept sneaking glances at him, seemed a little strange.
"Fu Qing, I once had a marriage."
Fu Zhen: "Huh? Oh, right. That's normal."
"Fu Qing, your voice sounds a little familiar."
Fu Zhen: "Does it? Ahem." (Raises his voice)
"Fu Qing, I actually like men, too."
Fu Zhen choked on a mouthful of water, his face turning bright red.
Yin Mu smiled knowingly. He found it rather amusing that his gentleman could blush so fiercely, and reached out to wrap an arm around Fu Zhen's waist.
"What, afraid I'll fall for you?"
Gorgeous, scheming Crown Prince top x sweet, handsome, straight-laced gentleman with a butterfly-shaped back bottom
PS:
1. The top is mistaken for a woman because of his bone-shrinking technique and appearance. Beautiful top, muscular top! There's a size difference between him and the bottom!
2. The Crown Prince's lineage will be explained in the story.
3. Nonsensical political intrigue, both identities revealed, super sweet romance~~~~ (Basically, I wanted to write a cozy cabin romance...)
4. The bottom loses his memory at the beginning. The first dozen or so chapters are a rural married-life journal for the top and bottom! Cheerful, silly husband (bottom) x gloomy, unsmiling little wife (top)
