(A melodramatic story, but very sweet. Come give it a try!) (Warning up front: pregnancy and childbirth)
At eighteen, Jiang Huai liked just about everything. The only person he couldn't stand was his nemesis, Lin Yue.
The entire school had watched them go head-to-head, but nobody ever took bets, because Jiang Huai always lost.
Jiang Huai was so mad he went to sleep.
When he opened his eyes again, ten years had passed.
He was lying in a hospital bed. His nemesis, Lin Yue, was holding his hand, eyes bloodshot, and asking hoarsely, "You're awake, baby? Want some water?"
Jiang Huai's hair stood on end.
"Have you gone crazy, you bastard Lin? You're really going all out just to gross me out! Why not call me Dad while you're at it!?"
Lin Yue: "..."
Jiang Huai stopped laughing.
To his horror, his nemesis seemed to have grown even bigger, especially the way he was looking at him, as if he could really eat him alive.
Jiang Huai had lost his memory, and with it, ten whole years.
There was no way he could accept that the nemesis he'd been fighting tooth and nail with just a moment ago had somehow become his husband, listed on his household register!
Jiang Huai packed his bags, planning to make a run for it.
Whoever wanted this husband could have him. Jiang Huai sure didn't. They could break up, get divorced, whatever. He didn't want to get played by this scheming bastard until he didn't have the shirt on his back...
"Where are you going?" The room suddenly lit up. His inexplicably CEO-like nemesis stood at the doorway, his expression dark.
Jiang Huai stood his ground. "What's it to you? Come make me stay if you can!"
Lin Yue strode over.
Jiang Huai instinctively shut his eyes and hunched his shoulders, but all he felt was Lin Yue's cool palm brush the side of his neck, slide over his Adam's apple, and finally press against his dry lips.
Jiang Huai's heart raced.
Lin Yue's voice was restrained. "It's all my fault. Don't get upset."
Holy crap!
Since when had his nemesis ever been so meek?
Jiang Huai was so pleased he suddenly didn't feel like leaving anymore.
After all the times Lin Yue had made him furious, he could get back at him however he wanted now... right?
Jiang Huai said, barely able to contain his excitement, "Y-you, get on your knees!"
Lin Yue paused, then actually went down on one knee.
Jiang Huai: "...Say, 'Jiang Huai is the most handsome, smartest, and most badass school bully at No. 1 High!'"
Lin Yue's lips curled up, and he repeated it just as asked.
Jiang Huai was so happy his scalp tingled. He was about to record it on his phone when he suddenly felt Lin Yue touching his belly.
"What are you doing!?" Jiang Huai shrank back warily.
"Saying hello to the baby."
Jiang Huai: "…"
Jiang Huai: "Huh!?"
Ten years had changed everything.
Using the baby as an excuse, Jiang Huai still stayed.
According to Lin Yue, they were in love and had a happy marriage.
Just as Jiang Huai was gradually getting swept up in his nemesis's doting and starting to believe it all, he accidentally opened a drawer.
Inside were dozens of draft divorce agreements.
He was listed as the one who had filed for divorce.
There was one for every year.
At some point, Lin Yue had appeared in the doorway. His voice was hoarse as he spoke.
"Xiao Huai, don't leave."
*It's sweet, trust me.
*The top has been secretly in love with him all along.
*When they got married, the bottom willingly agreed.
