This Demon Lord Is a Little Sweet

Qingshuang was the only child in her family. When she was sixteen, her parents died one after another. To protect the family estate, she married a taciturn butcher.

Her husband treated her very well. He gave her all the money he earned, and when he wasn’t butchering pigs, he stayed home to do the washing and cooking and help her tend the flower fields.

Apart from the persistent smell of blood around him and his seemingly endless stamina at night, Qingshuang was very pleased with her honest, reliable husband.

But people kept stopping her to say she had been bewitched by evil spirits. They claimed her honest husband wasn’t human at all, but a vicious demon, a mad dog, a ruthless villain, and tried to trick her into killing him to save the world.

Qingshuang never believed their malicious gossip, until she saw with her own eyes as her honest husband slaughtered a famous cultivation sect.

Amid a mountain of corpses and a river of blood, he wore a handsome, impassive expression and calmly cut down the fleeing cultivators throughout the city.

Late that night, her husband came home reeking of blood. He took off his blood-spattered outer robe and handed it to Qingshuang. “There were a lot of pigs today. I got my clothes dirty again.”

Qingshuang: “…”

Qingshuang took the clothes and said slowly, “It’s fine. I’ll make you a new set.”

“It’s late. Let’s go to bed.” Her husband took off his clothes, let his hair down, and sat by the bed waiting for her.

The faint smell of blood lingered in the bedroom. Qingshuang murmured, “Mm,” but didn’t move.

Come on, stupid legs, move!

What are you afraid of? Just pretend he’s come back from slaughtering “pigs.”
