Plot Summary:

Archaeology student Lin Jianwei keeps having the same dream. A woman gives her a piece of jade and tells her she likes her.

Then Lin Jianwei really does transmigrate, ending up in a place that has preserved the civilization of a matriarchal society.

Here, the generals are women, the priests are women, the doctors are women, and the merchants are women, too.

On the first day after she transmigrates, General Jiang Yao, who looks exactly like the woman in her dreams, holds a knife to Lin Jianwei’s throat. “I need you to cooperate and put on an act. I’ll teach you what to do and say.”

But Lin Jianwei refuses to play by the rules. She wants to take the initiative. “If you do as I say, I can bring a heavy rain to Wanu City.”

Jiang Yao: “I’ll agree to anything you ask. But if you fail...”

Lin Jianwei: “If I fail, you can do whatever you want with me.”

Half a month after she transmigrates, Lin Jianwei discovers that the historical records here differ greatly from those of the modern world. She thinks she’s figured out why she ended up here.

Because their story, their gods, and their traces have all been erased from the history books of the future.
