Zhao Nuo soon learned from the students that the vampires had suffered a crushing defeat in the great war a hundred years ago and then vanished.
Of course he didn't believe that nonsense.
To find his companions and figure out what had happened to him, he decided to keep pretending to be a doll and search for clues undercover at the human academy.
But beyond his sight, the past was coming back to life. Old faces and schemes were quietly returning. The conflict between humans, vampires, demons, and the other races could no longer be resolved. Thunder and lightning raged beneath the dark clouds, and the fires of war were about to blaze again.

The famously strict and cold-hearted headmaster appeared just then. He cornered Zhao Nuo when no one else was around and looked down at him in scrutiny.
"Why run, little doll? Aren't you always looking for a master?"
The truth was right before his eyes: this scheming human had his eye on Zhao Nuo's body.
