Do Ordinary People Have to Learn Magic Too?

Before the magical continent was doomed to destruction, a group of visitors from another world appeared here.

Faced with vicious monsters, they raised their weapons and cried out for justice and courage. As they fought evil creatures, they grew stronger and stronger, eventually saving the human residents in danger and successfully resolving the crisis.

Hearing this, Fei Yule, who had just become a human resident, slowly looked up. "What did you say? The magical continent is going to be finished?"

He had only been lying around in a small town for a few days when he unexpectedly awakened a game system. The System told him that this was a game world with a Western fantasy setting, and the visitors who arrived every day were actually players from another world.

The System's voice was utterly certain. "That's right. For reasons we can't disclose, you've been chosen. The task of saving the world is now in your hands, mighty (not really) mage!"

"You're saying you're handing this arduous task to an ordinary person with no magic, whose daily quest is to eat, wait, and do nothing?"

Fei Yule wasn't quite convinced, but he had a great attitude. "If that's the case, could you teach me magic first? Humans without magic have a hard time surviving in the territories."

Once everything was settled, he followed the adventure-loving "visitors" into the unknown magical territories.

The four great territories hold the richest concentrations of magic on the magical continent. According to legend, they are terrifying and mysterious, home to countless races. Their inhabitants are adept at magic and keep to their own domains. If a tiny human wanders in by mistake, it could cost them their life.

The races in the territories are always at odds. The mages flee, unwilling to go near them, and all that abundant magic is about to vanish amid their infighting.

Then a white-haired, green-eyed young man emerged from the forest, accompanied by several mysterious spirit beasts. He said he had come to save them.

At first, no one trusted his words, but the land truly did begin to change with his arrival.

Even after the evil creatures fell and the territory regained its vitality, his explorations did not stop.

Later, the prophecy of the magical continent really came true. Fei Yule plunged into the depths of the sea amid the roar of an evil dragon, only to be rescued by a mermaid.

The mermaid gazed down at him. His sorrowful tears turned into pearls and fell as he said miserably, "Didn't you say you'd come back for me? Didn't you say I was the only one you loved? Why... did you forget me?"

Trapped in his arms, Fei Yule kept soothing him. "No, I remember you. Aren't you that scheming fish who dragged me into your dream and had designs on me? Stop crying for a second. Let's talk about how I'm only supposed to love you."

[Reader's Guide]

1. One-on-one romance, happy ending. The mermaid is the gong.

2. On the magical continent, an "ordinary person" means a human with no magic who can't use magic. It doesn't mean the shou is ordinary.

3. A Western fantasy adventure story, mainly about going on adventures all over with the players (?)
