Synopsis
Whispers of Autumn
Seven-year age gap, younger top. Size difference and skin-tone difference. The bottom isn't completely blind: he can perceive light and make out blurry silhouettes. His sight will not recover later.
An insecure, sickly beauty bottom VS an intensely possessive, devoted-dog top
In his freshman year, Xia Youqing signed up for Bemyeyes at his roommate's urging. It never rang once in two years. Then, one day, after work, he came home and caught his roommate fooling around with the person who'd been pursuing him. Just as Xia Youqing stood there, unsure how to react, the app rang for the first time.
That call preserved the last of his dignity.
He answered. A gentle, apologetic voice came from the other end. "Sorry for bothering you so late. I've lost my way. I can't find the tactile paving, and there's no one around..."
Xia Youqing glanced at the shop that flashed across the screen. "Are you near Linzhou University? Stay right where you are. I'll come find you."
Using a call for help as an excuse, Xia Youqing fled in disarray.

Years later, Chi Zhou returned to Linzhou. On a whim, he went back to Nanda to revisit his old stomping grounds, but got lost on his way home.
At eleven that night, while his phone still had battery, Chi Zhou called the volunteer hotline. He only wanted to ask for directions, but the volunteer insisted on coming to find him.
Chi Zhou wanted to leave, but didn't know which way to go. He wanted to stay, but felt uneasy. If he ran into a bad person, he would have almost no chance of defending himself.
The autumn night was chilly. Chi Zhou gripped his white cane and stood in the wind, hesitating. When he sensed someone approaching, he instinctively took a step back.
The other person said nothing. Silently, he took hold of the other end of Chi Zhou's cane and led him to the intersection, where voices and traffic filled the air.
"I'll get you a cab. Where do you live?"
Chi Zhou gave him the address. The young man chuckled. "Aren't you worried I'm a bad person now?"
Chi Zhou's face flushed red. "You're not. I'm blind, but my heart isn't. I think you're a good person."
And so the young man went all the way in being a good person: he took Chi Zhou home himself, then gave him the rest of his life as his personal guide dog.

Little Scene
In the dim light, Xia Youqing knelt on the soft carpet, gazing at Chi Zhou's gentle face. Riding the buzz from the alcohol, he slowly leaned closer. If he moved just a little nearer, he could kiss the man he'd long desired.
Chi Zhou was curled up on the sofa, eyes shut tight, breathing steadily, completely defenseless.
Xia Youqing stopped. He still couldn't bring himself to take advantage of someone.
Suddenly, Chi Zhou murmured, "Xia Youqing, you're so close."
Xia Youqing went rigid. His hand gripping the edge of the sofa tightened.
Chi Zhou reached out blindly and touched Xia Youqing's face, stroking it slowly. "Xia Youqing, do you want to kiss me?"
Xia Youqing said, "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have..."
Chi Zhou cut him off. "Xia Youqing, your face is so hot."
"I drank. It's gone to my head a little."
After a moment's silence, Chi Zhou asked, "Do you want to kiss me because you drank?"
Xia Youqing said, "No. I can't help wanting to kiss you."
"Xia Youqing, come a little closer." Chi Zhou sensed him moving nearer and continued, "Kiss me."
Xia Youqing's heart raced, Chi Zhou's words echoing in his ears. But looking at the confusion on Chi Zhou's face, he asked while he still had his wits about him, "Are you letting me kiss you because you've been drinking?"
"No. It's what my heart wants."
The day after they kissed, Xia Youqing eagerly asked what their relationship was now. To his surprise, Chi Zhou was like a different person from the night before. Expressionless, he denied everything that had happened. "I was drunk last night. Don't take it seriously."
Xia Youqing was devastated.
So drinking meant you didn't have to take responsibility?
Xia Youqing followed his example and took a sip of alcohol every day before getting intimate with Chi Zhou.
"Big brother, I'm drunk. Don't blame me."
Chi Zhou said, "You got drunk from one sip of fruit wine?"
Xia Youqing opened a can with one hand and took a sip. "Big brother, I'm a lightweight."
At the sound of the can opening, Chi Zhou's body went limp against his will, and he fell into Xia Youqing's arms.
Note: The top had never interacted with a blind person before. He held the other end of Chi Zhou's cane from a distance the first time they met because he didn't want to scare him. He won't do that later.
Reading Guide: The top is pure in body and mind. The bottom has had an ex, so please proceed with caution if that bothers you.
