Yu Wei transmigrated into a book.

Yu Wei feared he had a tumor in his stomach and nervously went to the hospital for an examination. When the doctor said it wasn't a tumor, Yu Wei breathed a sigh of relief.

The next second, the doctor cheerfully congratulated him and said he was pregnant. Yu Wei's vision went black, and he fainted.

He couldn't pretend it was like getting bitten by a dog. Dog bites don't get you pregnant.

Chi Zhou had only heard from a friend that there was a delicious noodle shop behind A University. On a whim, he went to try it that day, but got lost on the way back.

At ten at night, not wanting his family to worry, Chi Zhou called the volunteer hotline. He only wanted directions, but never expected the volunteer to come find him.

Chi Zhou wanted to leave, but had no idea which way to go. He wanted to stay, but felt uneasy. If he ran into a bad person, he would have almost no chance of winning.

The autumn night was cold. Chi Zhou gripped his white cane as he stood in the wind, hesitating. When he sensed someone approaching, he instinctively took a step back.

The other person said nothing. He silently took the other end of Chi Zhou's cane and led him to the intersection, where voices and traffic filled the air.

"I'll get you a cab. Where do you live?"

Chi Zhou gave him the address. The young man chuckled. "You're not afraid I'm a bad person now?"

Chi Zhou's face flushed red. "You're not. I may be blind, but my heart isn't. I think you're a good person."

And so the young man saw his good deed through, personally escorting him home, then giving him the rest of his life as his very own guide dog.

A little scene

In the dim light, Xia Youqing knelt on the soft carpet, gazing at Chi Zhou's gentle face. With the courage alcohol gave him, he slowly leaned closer. If he got just a little closer, he could kiss the person he'd longed for.

Chi Zhou was curled up on the sofa, eyes shut and breathing steady, completely defenseless.

Xia Youqing stopped. He still couldn't bring himself to take advantage of someone.

Suddenly, Chi Zhou murmured, "Xia Youqing, you're so close."

Xia Youqing's body stiffened. His hand gripping the edge of the sofa tightened.

Chi Zhou reached out in the air, touched Xia Youqing's face, and gently caressed it. "Xia Youqing, do you want to kiss me?"

Xia Youqing said, "I'm sorry. I shouldn't..."

Chi Zhou interrupted him. "Xia Youqing, your face is so hot."

"I've been drinking. It's gone to my head a little."

Chi Zhou fell silent for a moment. "Do you want to kiss me because you've been drinking?"

Xia Youqing: "No. I want to kiss you because I can't help myself."

"Xia Youqing, come a little closer." Chi Zhou sensed him move closer and continued, "Kiss me."

Xia Youqing's heart raced, Chi Zhou's words echoing in his ears. But looking at Chi Zhou's bewildered face, he asked while he still had his wits about him, "Are you letting me kiss you because you've been drinking?"

"No. It's what my heart wants."
