Special police captain with exceptional combat skills x clever, scheming bookstore owner (former narcotics squad captain)
Wei Fengchen, captain of the special police detachment, is a tough man.
Stories about Captain Wei are widely circulated throughout the System: He once jumped off an overpass alone and subdued a van full of drug traffickers trying to force their way through a checkpoint; he once bent a railing with his bare hands and led the assault team to rescue trapped hostages; and he once raced three kilometers at the risk of his life, then took down a major international drug lord even after being shot. The list goes on and on.
He is composed, calm, brave, and decisive. He is the fittest person in the C City System, and to this day no one can match him.
He fears nothing, except his wife's catching a cold, getting a fever, or throwing a tantrum.
As they say, there's always someone who can keep even the fiercest person in line.
Just who could possibly tame this living King of Hell?
That would be Gu Yiran, former captain of C City's narcotics squad and an extremely rare living hero.
At this very moment, Boss Gu is in the bookstore across from the municipal public security bureau, reading and drinking coffee. He is planning to sneak over to the convenience store in half an hour to buy himself a tub of ice cream as a treat, and wondering what mischief he should get up to today.
"My partner is strong. He gave his life to the fight against drugs, came face-to-face with death, and returned to the world of the living. The first decision he made was to live the rest of his life for himself and for me."
The story opens with two people very much in love, and they'll stay that way. Their romance is completely sweet, with no angst whatsoever. If there's even a hint of angst, send a whole vanload of bread men to beat me up.
I'll do my best to portray the daily lives of special police officers and the emergencies they may face. This part focuses more on the ensemble cast of the special police team. If possible, I'll try to bring "Captain Gu" back for a limited time, but the main highlights belong to the special police team.
Special thanks to walden for generously helping translate the English title and the small text on the cover!

*This is a fictional setting. Everything in the novel is something I made up based on reality, so please don't take it too seriously. Thank you!
Theme: The world is vast and ordinary people are small, but courage makes greatness possible
Eh🤔I really have PTSD. I always feel that it's not that simple. I just went to Team Gu🐶
Xiao Nanyi and Xiao Yue... What should they do if their colleagues' sons like them? Ps: If you dare to mess with us, we will be injured. I will open canned peaches to eat tonight.
Li: I wish you thirty years of business with a smile. Ran: Then I wish you thirty more years of class The best friend group is hurting each other, but there is a saying that the day Wei will retire must be the day the bookstore closes 🐶🌹
Chuang: I regret so much why I didn't bring my mobile phone [picking my head]
Could it be that we still can't drink Ranmi's milk tea🤩🤩🤩🤩 After all, we are still destined to have no connection [Okay] [Okay] [Okay]
Chuangzi, when he calls me brother, he usually doubles his words, but when he's at work, he always uses single words. He's so cute. Lao Wei: Beat my brother? You little old lady dare to hit my brother?
Teacher, you must not take a break. You must code one hundred thousand words a day, okay? Twenty-four hours a day, a thirty-minute break is enough, and the remaining twenty-three and a half hours can be used to code, okay?
Every chapter of Bad Peach challenges Ergou and I's blood pressure and ability to withstand stress [Glasses][Glasses][Glasses]
I finished reading it in one go. I don't know how long it will take me to read it. Reading one chapter every day is too painful. I look forward to being abused (sorry) and then getting better~~ (biting the handkerchief)
I admit that my PTSD is no less severe than Ergou's.
