After Turning into a Puppy, I Caught the Eye of a Mutant Vine

A sweetly clueless, gullible, big-chested idiot puppy top x a possessive, two-faced mutant vine bottom

A strange phenomenon struck, and the apocalypse arrived.

Yu Mi, a poor college guy working hard to save up for living expenses, happened to be home on leave when the zombie outbreak began and escaped disaster.

That night, he came down with a high fever. When he woke up, he'd grown a pair of white dog ears and a tail. He was too clueless to know what to do, so he could only curl up under the covers, helplessly clutching his newly grown fluffy tail and trembling.

From that day on, things gradually started to go wrong.

His home was suddenly covered in countless black vines overnight. The puppy sensed danger and immediately decided to run, but he didn't get far.

The vines, which had been watching him covetously for a long time, promptly tied him up like a little puppy dumpling.

Just as Yu Mi thought he was done for, the remaining vines gathered before him, and in the end, they turned into a man who was taller than him.

The puppy was confused.

When he finally figured out who the man really was and accepted the fact that the vines he'd raised for over ten years had suddenly become sentient, even more shocking discoveries followed.

Only then did he notice that something was off about the neighbors.

They weren't afraid of the apocalypse at all. They even went out in groups to practice killing zombies, taking each one down with a single shovel swing. They were so ruthless and practiced, it was as if they'd done it countless times before, as if it had become instinct.

They also all had so much food at home it seemed impossible to finish it, and enough weapons for self-defense to open an arsenal. They were living incredibly comfortable lives.

...These people were all powerful experts!

The fluffy puppy with ears and a tail felt uneasy, afraid that once the experts discovered him and the vine that had turned human, they'd mistake them for mutant creatures like zombies and kill them with a single swing of a shovel.

The puppy wanted to survive and tried his best to hide, but still accidentally gave himself away.

He panicked, but he never expected these people to all be fluffy-animal lovers. They didn't think he was a monster at all. Instead, they grinned and crowded around, reaching out to touch his ears and tail.

Yun Miao is a rare S-rank Sentinel. On a mission, he was injured by the shockwave of an explosion after failing to dodge in time while saving a hostage.

When he regained consciousness, the first thing he remembered was that he was pregnant.

Sentinels must have a Guide constantly soothe them during pregnancy, or the baby could easily be in danger. Worried sick about the baby, Yun Miao packed up his belongings, tucked his little one inside, and set off to find the baby's father.

When he finally managed to find him, the baby's father looked utterly shocked.

Yun Miao was devastated. Did he not want him and the baby?

The bottom's perspective:

His childhood friend, whom he hadn't seen in ages, suddenly showed up at his door one day, claiming to be pregnant and saying Yin Chijin was the father, so he had to take responsibility for both of them.

Yin Chijin: ...

Completely stunned.

Yin Chijin clearly remembered that the last time he'd seen Yun Miao was two years ago.

Now Yun Miao had suddenly turned up saying this, and of course he didn't believe it.

He was just about to say something when his father came out of nowhere and dragged him away. His father explained everything. In short, Yun Miao had been mentally confused by the explosion, imagined that he was already pregnant, and decided Yin Chijin was the father of the baby in his fantasy.

Yin Chijin didn't want to get involved in this mess, but he couldn't fight his father. After getting two smacks on the back of his head, he finally gave in.

And so, overnight, he went from being Yun Miao's childhood friend to being the baby's father.

The top's perspective:

Yun Miao felt like his husband had been acting strange lately, always saying things he couldn't understand.

He couldn't figure it out, and lately his chest had been feeling uncomfortable. Could it be the milk swelling mentioned in pregnancy guides?

So, as usual, he asked his Guide for help. At times like this, Yin Chijin was always perfectly normal, more enthusiastic than anyone.

As he watched the Guide eagerly helping with his face buried against his chest, Yun Miao's body trembled. His soft, fluffy ears and tail emerged uncontrollably as the Guide took over and controlled all his senses. The Guide freed a hand to knead and rub them.

Yun Miao panted softly, a little dazed as he thought,

Maybe he'd just been overthinking it.

It didn't seem like anything was wrong.

1. Yun Miao top x Yin Chijin bottom.

2. The bottom is stronger than the top, and the bottom falls in love first.

3. The top gives birth. The early pregnancy is something the cat top imagines after injuring his head in the explosion; it's not real. Later, after their mental powers merge, he really does become pregnant. Single-sex top, no role reversal. The premise is that merging mental powers can result in pregnancy, and the baby is kept in a mental space and removed with medical equipment once it reaches a certain size.

4. The author's setting is that after conception, the only physical change is milk swelling.
