The game's most important NPC is Maidi Xierge, a genius in magical research. At just eighteen, he became a professor of healing magic at the first-ranked magic academy, Valandigang Academy.
The genius professor was framed during a top-secret, epic magical research project and died with his name unjustly tarnished.
The players' story begins when an ordinary commoner finds Maidi Xierge's abandoned wand. From there, they level up and explore the map, uncovering the truth of the magical world.

A revenge-fueled leveling story, a wish-fulfillment novel. The memories from her time as an NPC and the early part of the story are pretty frustrating, but after she awakens, it's pure wish fulfillment. The writing is lighthearted and a little goofy, and the heroine is the strongest.
The world of The Scepter: high magic + steampunk + Lovecraftian elements + goblins + beastmen + mutations, featuring various races from Western fantasy worlds, including dwarves, dragons, vampires, and more.
There is a couple, with a moderate amount of romance: a tsundere, long-lived raven sculpted into a beautiful witch x a genius, scheming archmage with a dark heart.
Important: The male lead is a virgin, but the female lead is not. Please take note. The heroine has a beloved who died young, and there are quite a few detailed flashbacks.
