I Decided to Break Up After Losing My Memory

After developing amnesia, Ying Xu broke up with the boyfriend he had been with for ten years. His boyfriend refused to accept it, then kept him up talking all night.

Ying Xu looked at him and warned, “I might eventually forget everyone.”

“Mm, I know,” the person beside him replied calmly.

“That includes you,” Ying Xu went on.

“Mm, I know.” Shen Shiyi refused to budge, stubbornly insisting, “But you promised me forever, not just ten years.”

Ying Xu fell silent. He opened his mouth as if to say something, but when he saw the sadness in the other man's eyes, he said nothing.

What he really wanted to ask was: Shen Shiyi, just how deep must your love be to make you devote this long life to me?

When we talk about love,

what are we talking about?

[Hey! Look here!]

① A healing, everyday sweet romance. It's not long, around a hundred thousand words or so. Probably, orz. I might get carried away and make it longer as I write ().

② An amnesia plot. There shouldn't be too many twists. I'm just making a whole plate of dumplings for one spoonful of vinegar. This idea came to me on a whim, and I really like it, so I let it cut in line without affecting my original plans.

③ Happy ending, and the illness can't be cured. I made the illness up.

④ The last two lines of the synopsis come from the short story collection What We Talk About When We Talk About Love by American author Raymond Carver. The original title of this novel is When We Talk About Love. I'll change it back after it's finished!

⑤ I hope all you lovely readers enjoy the story~

Theme: Love is in the hands of fate.
