The Frail, Blind Boy Who Scavenges to Support a General

Wen Jueqian is a garbage processor on a junk planet. Severely nearsighted, he goes by the nickname Little Blind Guy.

One day, there was inexplicably a man in the garbage heap. Unable to see clearly, Wen Jueqian didn't notice him and sent him into the processing room along with the trash.

The man's mental power exploded, breaking the garbage processing room. Wen Jueqian had to pay for the damage.

Wen Jueqian's savings were even scarcer than his eyesight, and faced with the hefty bill, he was despondent.

Fortunately, the man who had wrecked the processing room was reasonable and agreed to cover half the cost.

Unfortunately... the man was even poorer than Wen Jueqian. He owned nothing and even had to live at Wen Jueqian's place.

The man called himself A Lu. He scraped by on backbreaking odd jobs, yet grandly promised Wen Jueqian, "Once my mental power recovers, I'll take you away from this junk planet and give you a good life."

Wen Jueqian kept his head down, fixing the only electrical appliance in the house. Without looking up, he said, "Get lost."

Lu Shicheng, an illegitimate son, was a stain on the imperial Hume royal family, and a general whose name was etched on an honor monument throughout the stars.

While outside threats remained, the Hume family didn't dare touch Lu Shicheng. Once peace came to all the star systems, they wasted no time in killing the very man who had served them.

Everyone thought Lu Shicheng had died in the collapsing wormhole.

No one expected him to make it back to the empire alive.

Not only did he return, he brought a little blind guy with him.

The little blind guy was pretty and delicate, but had a bad temper. He could chase General Lu for ten whole blocks in a hovercar.

[Advance notice blurb written on 2023-11-14]

This advance notice was posted before, but I didn't feel like writing it for a while, so I changed the original notice to another new story. I'm very sorry. I acted on impulse back then, and I won't do it again. But while sorting through old files these past few days, I came across it and realized I still wanted to write it, so I'm posting it again here. Sorry about that.
