Ghost Marriage

Wei Dong, blacklisted by his company and facing a massive penalty for breaking his contract, came across this post online. As it happened, the woman in the photo looked about 70% like him.

With nowhere else to turn, Wei Dong ignored the comments warning people not to fall for it and contacted the person who had posted it.

Then he learned, to his shock, that they were looking for a woman to enter a ghost marriage with their son, who had died young. Apparently, their son had once been in love with someone, but for some reason the two of them had eventually gone their separate ways.

The couple couldn't bear the thought of their son dying alone, so they had decided to find a girl who resembled his first love and arrange a ghost marriage for them.

After hearing everything, Wei Dong turned in shock and anger to leave, but stopped dead when he heard them offer to triple the payment.

For half a month after the ghost marriage ceremony, Wei Dong lived in fear. But nothing strange happened around him. In fact, his luck gradually began to improve.

At last, Wei Dong relaxed and dismissed everything that had happened as a dream.
